About Course
This course is for everyone who wishes to learn more about the experiences of girls and young women in Scotland. No Knives, Better Lives talked with young women about their experiences of violence and what they thought would prevent violence. They told us about their relationships, support and community; their perceptions of and influences on violence; as well as the role social media plays in violence.
Please note this course contains themes of violence, misogyny, suicide and self-harm. It also contains direct quotes from the research, which contain some swear words and offensive language.

I found information very useful
Great resource for youth workers, especially those working with young women. Great to hear both young women's, and practitioner's voices throughout.
Great detail, very informative
Very informative and relevant to my work
great content - looking forward to further research
I found this course informative and eye opening. This course is going to help me deal with young people, especially young girls, that are dealing with violence
Very timely and useful information. Food for thought for how to put into my work.
As a 17 year old self who was born a girl but identify’s as a boy I really understand these girls and what they are going through the amount of fights people wanted to have with me for no reason I would never show up because I wasn’t intrested. What I have read will help these young girls a lot and these girls need to see it now before it’s too late.
